Northwest Chaplaincy is a nonprofit organization founded in 2006, which has set forth as its mission, “Providing Compassionate Care to the Law Enforcement Community and National Disaster Response."

Northwest Chaplaincy responds to:  officer involved death, shooting, and injury; drowning; serious injury accidents; suicide negotiation; suicide death; homicide or attempted homicide; child death (i.e. SIDS); kidnapping; search and rescue; domestic violence; and all major crises.   Our chaplains provide counseling and devote time to ride along with on-duty officers, providing the “ministry of presence” and an opportunity to build a trusting relationship in a confidential and non-threatening environment.  In addition to providing compassionate care to members of law enforcement and fire personnel, Northwest Chaplaincy further serves citizens in the midst of crisis situations (sudden family death, loss of family home due to fire, serious-injury accident, victims of crime, etc.) and serves as a facilitator for chaplains in Washington State.

Northwest Chaplaincy serves law enforcement and fire agencies in the state of Arizona, and as called upon, provides national disaster response.

Northwest Chaplaincy provides emergency responders and citizens in crisis with these kinds of services free of charge, supported by a team of volunteers.
