Paul and Marsha Ellis:  Founders

Paul has been an ordained minister since 1979 and has served churches in both Canada and the United States.  He graduated with a Doctor of Ministry degree in 1996 from Northwest Graduate School.  With a passion and calling for chaplaincy, he has been involved in providing compassionate care to law enforcement and fire personnel and their families throughout his years of ministry.  He is a member of the International Conference of Police Chaplains (ICPC), and has earned his Master Chaplain certification.  He has been trained in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) and completed the National Incident Management System (NIMS) Certification. Paul has taught classes at the Chaplain’s Academy in Burien, WA and at the ICPC Washington Regional Training Seminar.  He served as Chaplaincy Facilitator for the Northwest Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God from 2006-2015 supporting and encouraging chaplains in Washington State and Idaho.  He currently serves as the Arizona State Representative for the International Conference of Police Chaplains, as the Chaplaincy Director for the Arizona District of the Assemblies of God, and serves as Lead Chaplain for the Maricopa Police Department.  Paul and Marsha have been married for 39 years and have served together as partners in ministry.  They are passionately committed to their volunteer work with Northwest Chaplaincy and have a clear vision of the future growth of this organization.
